I've heard that body builders get rid of water weight by dehydrating themselves & drinking diet colas. That way the drink doesn't have sugar in it (extra calories) and they still feel 'refreshed'.

They actually eat loads of dry foods such as rice cakes and drink dry white wine,about a botte a day before a competition.
