I have to write a narrative speech about a memorable time or event in my life and I have to open with an impact. The impact has to grab the audiences attention like you can tell a joke or say a famous quote. Im writing about the time when I got my 1st...

speeding ticket. I didnt crash or anything I was just going 100mph with my friends and only had to go to court pay fines and attend traffic school. In my speech I also have to connect with the audience, like have a message. but im not sure what my message would be?? any help???

Start off by leading your audience into the memory. "Imagine going this fast blah blah blah" The message could be the lesson you learned as a result of the memorable event.
