I am making plans for a holiday party for next weekend. Does anybody have any holiday party orderves ideas, or thoughts on what I should serve? So far, we have the usual: cheese & crackers, sliced meats, a veggie tray, and these little cut up bread pieces with festive sprigs of parsely that look kind of holiday like with carrots & sausage on them.

Any more suggestions on what we should serve? There will be 20 or so people at the party, thanks!

This other discussion has some great ideas:

Also the standard fare:
1) cheese & crackers & meat
2) veggie tray with dip (cheese dip, ranch dressing, peanut butter, cream cheese, etc)
3) chips & dip (same kinds of dip there)
4) nachos
5) mini hot dogs
6) mushrooms, cheese or veggie sticks, battered & fried

Hope that helps, good luck with the party.

You can do a fondue with cheese and dip bread and some veggies, or chocolate with banana's, orange slices and angel food cake.
You can toast pine nuts, garlic, carmilized onions, then cut open a wheel of brie sprinkle all the topings in put the "lid" back on and pop into the oven for a moment or two untill the cheese is very soft.
You can always do devil eggs with roasted garlic, or do toast points with the devil egg mix add copped olives on top. Or deviled egg on endive with a bit of ham chopped fine spinkled on top, or bay shrimps chopped on top.
stuff the mini bell peppers with cheese and grill them very lightly.
