what color of highlights should I get?

What color of highlights should I get I have dark brown hair and I want highlights???

I think carmel colored highlights look beautiful with brown hair my bff has them and they look soo pretty

do not go too light and get it done in a salon!!! dont try it at home

Yeah dunt try them urself lol ull screw it up the salon uses a special thing also you shud ask your hair dresser you can get highlights were ull get very nautral shades of lighter browns and golds they are nice I have dark violet and I love them

u shouls add maroonish, a lighter brown, and a light blonde but not too much blonde! it would be very dramatic looking. and it would probably make you look even a little different. but I dont think you should do it at home. I have been doin my ownhair since I was like12 and im now 20...dyin it coloring, perms all that stuuf I do on my own. but I still cant get hi-lites in right with out endin up with a TON of spots in my hair.
