High school

I hate to sound depressed but I am. I just started high school and from the very first day it seemed like everyone already had their group of friends picked out. I thought high school would be different then middle school. It is but in a bad way it...

sucks. Once again Im pushed out into the corner by myself. It seems everyone has a best friend but me. I can't really blame them I guess. I'm a huge tomboy and I'm into everything a normal high school girl would hate. I'm into video games and Lord of the rings and millitary stuff. I'm totally opposite and I've never met another girl like me. I feel like the biggest outcast in the school. So I don't even have friends to get into drama with. Trust me I'm not lucky for that. And I like this boy but he'll never notice a loser like me. I want to be popular with out changing. All my life I've just gone from having tons of friends to none. Advice anyone?

well I bet this sounds like a cliche but just be yourself so many people have went through what youve went through best friends are hard to come by but once you have one you pretty much stay the same and well just try talking to some guys that have that same interest you do seriously if you went to school where I go I would totally hang out with you because I love a girl who can play video games and who loves the lord of the rings I mean I dont but thats like so cool so all I can say is try finding someone who relates to you

you are yourself and if no one can accept that then f**k them. but give it some time and you may start to mix.

when I started high school I was 12 but for the first year I was a loner. I was teased loads and called names like ugly and skinny... very hurtfull things. our first year we were in all classes with our form group, once we got into the second year we mixed with other forms in our year, so I had english classes with loads of different people, I started to mix a bit better, but it took me months to get friends. I was never popular, once year 10 started I mixed even more and the bullying stopped. I even became 'friends' with some of the people who used to pick on me... but that was for acceptance and not because I really liked them.

anyway, it's hard to be accepted if you are different. im 19 now and im starting college in sept, so that means a whole load of new people to meet, im quite shy, so thats going to be hard for me!! but even if you are not a girly girl that doesnt mean you cant be friends with that type... just try and talk to them, sit with them at lunch, ok I know that sounds pathetic, but thats kids, if you dont try then you never will get anywhere with them!!

wow thats sucky I cba to check where you are from but in england we start at age 11 which makes us all the more nervous and I was the only one from my school and I started a week late I had no friends for about 6 months people were just civil towards me

And it'll probably get better. "cliques" don't last long in highschool. Well it didn't in my school.

first off...I was the same way you are now at your age...I tried to be mister popular but I then learned that you shouldn't care what people think...if they don't like you for you then screw them...just be yourself...don't even change your self for this boy either...and lastly be glad your not in drama it suck...that what most girls are about drama this drama that..so
