High fever and cough, what now?

For the last 3 days,I've been coughing,and had the worst sore throat in my life,ever.I've had a fever,and the highest its been is 104.
I went to the doctor yesterday,they tested me for step throat.The rapid test came back negative,but I have to call back...

tomorrow for my other results.
I cant seem to get my temperate below 100.I've taken Aspirin,Motrin,Tylenol,cold baths,and I've even put cold rags under my armpits.Nothing is working.Right now,its at 102.
I've been miserable the last 3 days.What do I do?!

For the coughing and throat, try and garggle with salt water, sounds nasty but it's supposed to surpress the cough...

For the fever and such, the only thing you can really do if the medicine isn't helping is drink as much water as possible and flush it naturally out of your system... One you start frequently urinating and passing the infection out you should begin to feel better so slowly... And if all else fails try some day and nitequil, that always works for me..

I know you must miserable sorry about that. Now lets try and break this fever. One you have to drink plenty of fluids if its pop try seven up or gengar ale, you want to drink load of gratorade and water if you can (replaces) the eletrolites in your body that you are losing. You can also try eat freeze pops or eat popcilses. Rest stay in bed and you be good as new soon. Feel Better!
