Here's another lil johnny joke, is it funny?

So an old man is standing out on his porch smoking his morning pipe when he see's lil Johnny running down the street with some duct tape and he says "Lil' Johnny, where you going with that duct tape?" Lil' Johnny says "I'm going to catch me some ducks!"...

The old man chuckles and says "You can't catch ducks with duct tape!" and Lil Johnny just shrugs and keeps going.
That afternoon Lil Johnny passes by the old mans house with the tape rolled out behind him and ducks plastered all over it and the old man says "Well I'll be damned".
Next morning the old man sees lil' Johnny walking by with a roll of chicken wire and asks where he's going with it. Lil' Johnny replies "I'm going to catch me some chickens!" and the old man says "You can't catch chickens with chicken wire, everybody knows that!" and lil' Johnny just shrugs and says "Whatever."
That afternoon Johnny walks home with all the wire rolled out and chickens tangled up and squawcking in it and the old man says "Well I'll be damned!"
The following morning the old man sees lil' Johnny walking up the street with a branch and the old man asks "What do you got there lil' Johnny?" and Johnny replies "I got me a newborn branch from a pu$$y willow tree!" to which the old man says "Now hold on Johnny!"
"Let me get my jacket!"
