Why fast food and a diet coke?

Why do most americans eat big juicy hamburgers when getting fast food and order a DIET coke?

Because they try to fool themelves into thinking its actually healthy by not having ah full fat coke and by the way this isnt just americans there are people in britain who will get ah vodka and diet coke because they think it has less calories when the truth be known it actaull has the same!!

diet coke isnt as sweet as normal coke, so maybe they just prefer it to be less sweet

Basically what girlfromga said; people feel if they order a diet soda they make up for the unhealthy food they just ordered. What they don't know or just don't care about is a regular coke is better for your body.. diet coke contains aspertame.
