When you wash your hair DO NOT put the conditioner on the top of your head just put it in the lenghth(past the neckline). Then if you use a brush use an air brush the one that has holes in it and seperate teeth. If you use a comb (which I've heard is better) always start at the bottom and work up!! My friend will see this and probably tell you the BETTER way cause she is a cosmatoloigist!! Anyway I hope this helps you!
Brandared
Baby Powder=]
on the roots.
Keep it there for 10-15 minutes.
brush it off.
itll soak up any excess oil.
Also,Wash your hair after your shower with astringent.
you know, the stuff you use for your face
itll clean the oil up.
lastly,I heard vinegar helps.
wash your hair with vinegar after your shower.
I bet it works,Vinegar is known to clean a lot of different things.
My friend, who says I can tell you something better is mistaken. brandared69 gave you some good advice. I have the same problem. If I go to bed with a clean head, when I wake up, my hair is oily. There are times during the course of day when my hair becomes oily even though I washed it that morning. I don't know if baby powder will work. Baby powder does soak up wetness from either sweat or urine. (when applied to a baby) The astringent is a good one. I did learn that in school. You could certainly do this. Use a light astringent so not to irritate your scalp. Vinegar can do many great things but I don't know if it will help with your hair. I think it would leave your hair smelling like pickles. If you try the baby powder and the vinegar and they work, let me know.
Here is what I do:
I use shampoo that is not for colored hair, treated hair, permed hair, damaged hair, extra moisture, itchy scalp, etc. I use shampoo for cleansing only. Even though I have color treated hair. I use a small amount of conditioner and I do not apply it to the top of my head. If you have very short hair, don't use any conditioner. I use a light conditioner. I comb my hair when it is wet. I do not brush my hair several times throughout the day as this stimulates the scalp to release the naturals oils and then the brush dispurses it onto my hair. I always recommend salon quality products for this reason; for a product to be of salon grade, it is required that 100% of the ingredients are used to make the product. There are no fillers. Other product manufacturers are not required to do this, therefore adding fillers such as water and/or wax. After some time, wax builds up on your hair. This prevents shampoos from doing their job. Get a clarifying shampoo and use it once a week for 2-3 weeks. After this, use once every two weeks until the bottle is empty. The other days use regular shampoo and conditioner. You can use your conditioner with the clarifying shampoo. Trust me, you will need some conditioner. The clarifying shampoo strips all the excess build up on your hair from other shampoos, products, etc. Once this bottle is empty, you will not need to do this anymore. I still use a clarifying shampoo about once every 3-4 months. I rarely use hair spray, gels, mousse, etc. If you do, that is ok, you don't have to stop, just clarify your hair about once a month from here on out. Sometimes I wake up late and I just don't have time to take a shower. That day turns out to be a great "hat day". Good luck.
Yes. when you use conditioner. Do not put it on the TOP of your head. NOT where the part is. put it at the back or the sides becuase puttingthe conditioner right on top of your head makes it weigh down your hair. Making more oily and greasy. soo avoiding this you can have more body in your hair and less oilyness.
