Convincing my mom for a lip piercing

ok so if anyonereads this please answer within 4 hours because today I need to convince my mom to let me get my lip pierced and she's against piercings but will let me do my ears and I would take it out around her but someone PLEASE help

ok, you're only 14. I had my lip pierced (once or twice uh-hum) and I have scarring, it was done at a very very good place, my piercing never went over a 1.6 and I looked after it well, - skin tissue in that area often scars :O(

I think you need to really think about WHY you want it done. if you can't think up a convincing argument towards yourself, you'll never convince your mum. I had mine done in 1993 (when few had it done) and I did it becuase I felt different, and wanted to world to see me as such, however, now they are very common.

what is your motive? because' "my frinds have all got one" or "I just do" won't act as a good argument...and am impressed you're listening to your mum...sometimes they are right you know ;OD

also you need to think about why you want it
dont egt it to be cool or because everyone else has one
and think of youe SCHOOL
if they dont allow peircings there then youll have to take it out
or be kicked out

Youe Mom is obviously looking after your best interests - be Thankful - many, many, have parents that don't care - why mess up a pretty face...Take care !!
