How to do system update with no internet?

I got gears of war for the pc and it took about a hour and a half to install and when it did finish instaling I went to play it and I got a message coming up saying system update bit I dont have a internet connection at the moment what do I do then

Then you really cant play intil you get the update its all a scame to waste your time.
