I still like him even though he stood me up

Okay so my 18th birthday is coming up in a week and I have this big trip planed with my two best friends but both of them cant take more than a day off. I also invited this guy that I like, but he stood me up two months ago and we have been talking but...

how do I know if he likes? me cause I invited him and he told me he would see what he could do but I don't know. Even though he stood me up I still like him. So if anyone can help please help me. With the boy and my friends.

He probably stood you up because he was nervous! You see there was this one time where my cousin had stood up her friend! I asked her why she stood him up and she said it was because she likes him but she was nervous and stayed home instead because she didn't want him to think that she was gross when she decided that she was going to ask him out!

So maybe he likes you but was scared that you wouldn't like him anymore if he said he had other feelings for you! He probably wouldn't stand you up on your birthday! Besides this is suppose to be a special day for you and he wouldn't want to
ruin it by standing you up again because he knows that you want to have happy memories about your 18th birthday and wouldn't want to always think about how he stood you up or wasn't able to spend your birthday with you! Besides if he can't even go as a friend then what kind of friend would he be!
