I will lose her as a friend

Alright, im stuck here...I like this guy, he is 16 and he deffinatley likes me. He is my neighbor. And I have known him since I was at least four years old. And his 19 year old sister is my best friend. But she always complains when he flirts with me, and always tells me how happy she is that I dont like him too. What should I do? I cant tell her, bc I know if I do, I will lose her as a very good friend! She is the type of person that doesnt care about anything but what she thinks.help me.

Well if she was a real friend than she would want you to be happy and if her brother makes you happy she should respect that and be happy for you both. I definately think that you should go for it. but I think you should talk to her first.

Ok, well honestly...if she is a best friend, she will be happy for you...go for it! live on the edge, but just make sure he likes you for real though...good luck..

but also remember being with a bestfriends faimily member not to metion immideate family member always causes problems...this kid is 16...how old are yoou?
if you really like him...then I say go for it...but if its just that he likes you and you think hes cute...then its not worth a long time friendship.
