Help my son is not potty trained!

Well, it depends, how old is he? Does he understand the importance of being mature? You have to sit and talk to him about it, if you believe he is capable of being potty trained then you shouldn't give up, if all fails you should ask your doctor/physician, or therapist.

Considering he's good in reading and math I'm guessing he's around 5 or 6? Maybe not. My son didn't potty train until he was 4. There's a time when they're ready. Since he has special needs it may take a little longer. If he's absolutely not interested let it go for a little while. Or if he has a father have him go in with his father. Let his father talk to him. If not I'd just wait. He'll tell you when he's ready and most likely he's not. He still has that feeling that he's losing something he's not supposed to be. Just encourage him that's ok. Bringing in a doctor or therapist is a good idea but you might freak him out a little. Good Luck!

my son was the same way so I made going to bathroom more fun I put a bowl of cherrios by the toliet and everytime he had to go potty I trew in a couple of cherrios and he aimed at them this worked you might want to try this
