Help me please, is there somethign wrong down there

help me. I htink I may have a yeast infection, it itches so bad down there, sometimes its even hard to sleep because it itches. There isn't like a discharge, but a white sunbstance does form around the vulv* (or the opening to the vagin*) it itches so...

so so bad!!! and it is very red and irritated. Could it be a yeast infection, something worse? How can you help reduce the itch? Vagisil isn't working to well. It itches right now. There isn't that bad of a fishy smell but it doesn't seem normal. What could it be? What are the risks of leaving it alone? Will it go away?

I have also been in my bathing suits, could I be allergic to my bathing suit, it seems to get worse durring the summer. Help me!!! Please.

I havn't told my mom because I don't know how and she usually says its nothing. We think I had a yeast infection last year, but it never truly cleared up.

I havn't gotten my period, and I have not had sex.

It started last year but cleared up a little than broke out around may?

Please help me, it itches and is so uncomfortable!!!

If it's been that long, and it hasn't cleared up on it's own. YOU NEED to see a doctor. It could be something serious, or less serious.
If it's an infection they will give you antibiotics, and it will clear up.
Make an appointment, and see what's going on.

it sounds like a yeast infection. Especially if you have been wearing your bathing suit a lot..the dampness from hanging around after you swam in the bathing suit causes bacteria to grow. Vagisil is only an anti itch cream, so it would only relieve the itching moderately but it wouldnt fix the problem. The best thing to do if you never had a yeast infection before or are unsure of if it is one is to go to the doctor so they can tell you what to use ..they will probably write a prescription for diflucan..which is one pill you take that stays in your body for 7 days..and your feel relief in 12-24 hours..they will probably give you a cream as well to help with the external itching and irritation.
It isnt healthy to let it go without treating it though so get it checked out...at some point all girls get a yeast infection, just tell your mom about it and tell her how much it is bothering you..she will take you to the doctor or get you an over the counter medication like miconazole which is called monistat.

if its a yeast infection use monistat 7 you can get it at walmart. it will clear it up completely in a few days.

Yea go to the doctor asap! those infections only get worst if not treated !!!and they can be EXTREMELY painful. I had a simular issue but it wasnt an yeast infection but I had to be on meds for a good 2 weeks before it got better and I wasn't sexually active at the time.

Believe me these creams wont help unless its from a doctor get yourself checked out ok.

my gess you nead to see your doctor I have the same problem for the longest time then I told my mother to take my to see my doctor about the itchness below and he told me frist stop using sented and soaps with chemicals down there I use the dove bar because it does not have the sented soaps and chemicals stay away from zest and others like that . Then he told me to use this cream it would help stop the felling and to take baths with ebsentsalt when it starts that should help stop your problem
