could someone give me a pic of an emo style or tell me what emo really is help me please

I think its someone who wears black, dark makeup and looks like a goth but is really cheerfull and happy

Emo stands for emotional, so its the people who look bored and wear a lot of black...they think that no one understands them.

Emo,It Means Emotional.
In the 90s,It was brought up as a type of music.
In the early 2000s,Emo exploded.
Emo music contained screaming,crying,and dark lyrics,compelling self mutilation.

Now a days,Ignorant people have made the term "emo" Into a label.A Classification.
if You Asked someone today what an Emo Kid was,Youd probably hear:

A Person who:
-Cries a lot.
-Is Depressed.
-Cuts/Burns/Harms themselves in some way.
-Dresses in black,and Red
-Listens to "Screamo"

Honestly,I think the Term Emo shouldbe used as to music,And not a Perosn,
because judging a perosn like that is rediculous.

but people have made it into another label such as punk but softer.
like generaly emo kids are just a little more emotional then others.
and some cut their wrist but a lot of people do it to fit in
which is stupid.
but anyway ehh I wouldnt worry to much about emo kids,
