Yes, I know the feeling and it's got a proper scientific name - it's a known phenomenon which is not particularly worrying. I hope someone else can tell you the name, but all I can say is not to worry about it too much - it's a nasty feeling but not a sign of anything bad.
its called paralysis I get it all the time its nothing to worry about it happens to people who sleep on their back most of the time it keeps you from acting out your dreams most of the time
yeah I had that feel after a dream I had
It is sleep paralysis. I've experienced it a few times. I find that when my electrolyte level is lower it is worse. Very scary...especially the first occurrence
that usually happens where your brain wakes up during sleep but your body doesn't some people call it an out of body experience.
ya a couple times. once I was trying to yell to my bro and was on the other couch when I was sleeping. I could hear him and a friend, and I was having a wicked nightmare and I was yelling for them to wake me up. my attempted yelling was just moaning to them and I heard em say he must be having a sex dream. only a few dreams have actually scared me and that was one of em
I know what is happening to you. If when you wake up and you can't move, its normal. It means you just woke up from REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep (possibly from a nightmare). This is the healthiest type of sleep. It is where you dream the best. There are many zones of sleep. You need to go back through ALL the zones of sleep to wake up properly. Your brain basically has to catch up with your body.
yeah that sometimes happens to me. it's like I can't move or speak. freaky!!!1 but don't think it's anything to worry about

Have you ever woke up and couldnt move?
Sometimes I wake up, I can hear whats going on, but when I try to move, This buzzy feeling goes all over my body. Its so scary! It only lasts a few seconds, but it feels ike forever.
