How do I get hair dye out of a white hat?

How do I get hair dye out of a white hat? The hat is 90% cotton and 10% polyester. Please hellp me figure out how to remove the hair dye from my hat.

It depends on the dye, You have peroxide, natural, or ink based dyes.
If it is a Peroxide base, you may want to find another hat...
IF it is Ink based stain is a little tricky, and can sometimes be removed with blotting a little rubbing alcohol. If that doesn't work, try blotting the stain with a solution of 1/4 cup liquid hand dish washing detergent per cup of warm water. If the stain persists, try blotting the stain with a solution of 1 cup of white vinegar per 2 cups of water, then rinse with warm water and a white cloth. You may also wish to try a liquid peroxide based cleaner such as Bio-OX Citrus Concentrate. Be sure to let the clothing dry in between trying different cleaners.
Natural, should be gently scrubbed with Dawn dish soap, you should wash with hot if not boiling water, soak it and wash, this process may need to be repeated.
Treat stains prior to washing, since hot water can set stains. Water rinses equally well at any temperature, so you can rinse all your clothes using cold water. Be sure to always follow the washing directions given on the label of your clothes for best results.

5Step FiveOr, try a color remover, following directions on the box. Color remover will take out the fabric color as well as the stain, so you will have to re-dye your garment.
Tips & Warnings
A clean, white cloth ensures that your stain-removal efforts don't pull any unwanted dyes out of the cloth and onto your garment; it also allows you to see how much of the stain you have pulled from the garment.
Turpentine, lighter fluid and mineral spirits are flammable. Stay away from flame.

Put dawn dishsoap on either side of the fabric where the spot is, then put it in the washer and use bleach in the wash. It should come right out. I have a white cotton towel I've been using for years to wrap my hair after I color it, and it always comes out clean after bleaching it. I don't even put detergent or dawn on it before I wash it. But do that for some added help.
