I think so, I used to have long hair (1 m in length) and always kept it in a pony tail, every time I undid the band I saw my hair had been pulled out and the roots of the hair became weak. so I believe it does damage but since I always had a pony tail it might have been from the excessive pressure
no. it actually damages it slower. and stuff like chloriene damages your hair.
♥♥♥
it does if you always have it pulled back really tight
but if its a loose ponytail then thats fine
Yes it does damages your hair more...It has happen to me!
only if you put it up all the time and its pulled back really really and I mean really tight to where it hurts..because it actually does yank the hair outta your scalp..but if its losely or just right no it dont..it does your hair good instead of deciding to flat iron or blowdry it all the freakin time..which I kinda do that but I used to have it in a pony all the time..so yea..
Yeah, the pressure does...
yes, when you are wrapping your hair by your hair band this can cause your hair to break as you twist the band especially if you do this when your hair is wet. Try wearing looser pony tails and get a thicker hair band.
I wear my hair in a pony tail a lot and it is totally fine!
if your hair is really tight and your wear it up all the time then you will start to loose hair and notice patches missing from your hairline and your hair will fall out from the roots

Is it true that you can damage your hair faster if its up more. Like pony tails etc?
