Hair colouring dilemma

So here's the dealio:

My original hair colour is a dark, slightly reddish brown, anyways I decided to dye it black a couple of months ago. Now, I'm finding it really hard to determin my natural hair colour from the dye, therefore when touching up the roots, I often miss bits. I now wish to dye my hair a shocking red, but how do I get rid of the black? I DON'T WANT TO GROWN IT OUT! Should I bleach it? I heard that black is like IMPOSSIBLE to remove with bleach!

Help please!!!

I am a hairstylist, though I haven't practiced in years, I would think it would be difficult to remove black hair dye by bleaching. You could try using a blonde hair color. My hair is dark brown and when I use a blonde color, it comes up a medium to light brown. You could try that first. Just get a Clairol Balsom. They're inexpensive and work just fine. See how that does and go from there. You don't have to rush to do it. The longer you wait, the better. It's just not healthy for your hair to keep dying it.

I definatley wouldn't go to blonde. Anything lighter than brown is bleach it will dry dry dry your hair out and maybe even turn it green! I would just dye it a light brown to lighten it up a bit let the sun do the rest.

IT REALLY WORKS. OR MIX BAKING SODA INTO YOUR SHAMPOO, OR YOU CAN ALSO PUT LEMON AND LET THE SUN HIT IT SO IT CAN LIGHTEN UP. DO NOT BLEACH!!! IT WILL JUST MESS UP YOUR HAIR AND MAKE IT FEEL LIKE STRAW
