depends on how mean. if its just little things like picking on you and stuff, then probably not. it could mean he likes you and is shy and doesnt know how to show it, or something like that.
but if he's really being mean, then I dont know. I guess it just depends on what kind of things he's doing.

no not necessarily. Some men/boys are mean to girls/women because they like them. Its happened to me before. lol
