I play guitar hero 3 PS2 version and I'm not sure if that's the version you're playing but I'll give you the cheats I have for it so far:

Air Guitar:
YB, GY, GY, RB, RB, RY, RY, YB, GY, GY, RB, RB, RY, RY, GY, GY, RY, RY

Hyperspeed:
O, B, O, Y, O, B, O, Y

Performance:
RY, RB, RO, RB, RY, GB, RY, RB

Precision:
GR, GR, GR, RY, RY, RB, RB, YB, YO, YO, GR, GR, GR, RY, RY, RB, RB, YB, YO, YO

Unlock All Songs:

Never Fail (note, you can't use this in career mode though):

You put the codes in at the starting page where it says "quickplay, career, multiplayer..."
