I heard that green tea helps you lose weight. Do you think that is true?

As far as I know, it doesn't help - otherwise, lipton tea would be all over the television advertising their green tea & insisting that the FDA had confirmed green tea will make you lose weight.

actually Tea in essence has been shown to reduce stress, and relieved stress inturn does not release cortisol(a hormone that binds to fat and Keeps it with your body) and with lower levels of cortisol you are bound to lose weight with a sound diet and exercise......plus tea is a natural appetite suppressant........
