You can wash your hair once a day, just use conditioner every other day. Try using less conditioner and make sure you rinse thouroughly. Do not use Herbal Essence. For fine your such as yours, there is something in that brand that will leave your hair feeling greasy and dirty a few hours after washing. Do not brush your hair several times throughout the day. Brushing allows your hairs' natural oils to spread evenly onto your hair. It serves a good purpose, but unfortunately for you it can leave your hair greasy feeling. I hope this helps you.

Head and Shoulders was a solution for that particular time. I really believe that teenage hormones were playing a role.

As I continued to grow and move on with my life, at some point a few years later, the hair was no longer an issue.
