Mirror pond pale ail from deschuttes brewery, it's dark, delicious, and wonderful. For some reason, the flavor has always reminded me of iced black tea.

I don't think it's a microbrew but hardly anyone knows it. Yeung Leung Lager. It's the only beer I drink.

Do you mean Yuengling? I never tasted it but it is famous as the oldest brewery in America. Even though it is a regional beer it is at least the 6th largest brewery in the US so it is hardly a micro.

The beers I enjoy are not micros either but are old classic brands. I like Czech Pilsner Urquell, and German Spaten, and Pauliner. Guiness Stout (especially on tap) and Fuller ESB. I enjoy Sam Adams Spring Ale though most Sam Adams beers seem overrated to me. Oh yeah, Grolsch is a great lager if you can get it fresh and not light-struck. Most peopel think Grolsch is supposed to taste skunky but that is entirely from improper storage. A lot of the micros cater to hop-heads while I like a little maltier beer.

I brew my own beer too. I finished my 12th 5 gallon batch of beer a few months ago. I made an IPA for my step-son; like I said I'm not big on hoppy beers but I knew he likes 'em so I brewed him a batch. It did turn out pretty good. My batch before that was a stout. I changed recipies and don't like it as much as my previous recipe so I'll go back to my old one next time I brew stout. Lately I've been really enjoying Negro Modello when I go out for TexMex so I might do a clonebrew of it for my next batch.
