There is a Goldendoodle therapy dog at one of the medical recovery areas of our hospital...He is very pretty...his fur is curly/wavey and much softer than a poodles...he is also very large...and very friendly. They're so cool, that the gal who owns him drove to Michigan to pick him up, and paid $2400 for him...
But ..."designer dogs" are another problem in this world of overpopulation of pets...

yes, I've seen golden doodles. they are very high energy dogs and difficult to train, because poodles are sooo smart (#2 smartest dog, you know) so you'd better know what you're doing in the training dept.
goldens have great temperaments but need lots of exercise...
my advice to you...go to a shelter or rescue group to check them out. don't get a puppy.
Another note...Labradoodles, Goldendoodles...and the host of other "doodles", have not been genetically "set"...in other words, it takes several generations to create a standard for a breed. Therefore, there are many "doodles" out there that lean toward the other parent...ie: They shed, they don't have curly fur, they are not hypoallergenic...
Anybody else wonder what happens to the litter-mates that don't take on the poodle aspect of the breeding??? You never hear about those pups.

Have you ever seen a goldendoodle?
Have you actually seen a Goldendoodle or whatever they're called?
Just so you know, they are like a golden retriever and a standard poodle.
I really want to know what one looks like? Are they pretty? I heard they were!
Do ya have one or know someone...
that does? I don't know, they sound cool! GoldenDoodle!
Hahahaha!
