Going out, when my mum told me to stay in.. fool proof?

Asked by fau 4 months ago, 7 answers.

Kay, so my mum told me that I couldnt go to music fest with my best friend tonight, because there was going to be drinking and drugs, and at my age (14) I was to young to go. Since it doesnt end till 1145. I said okay, and listened to my mother, but I...

just found out that the boy that I like is going as well, and he offerd to pay for my ticket . So my best friend was like "uhhh... "(sorta unsure about this plan) "maybe you can just tell your mum that you are sleeping over at my house?" (witch I would be... But after we went to music fest) is this a totally dumb idea, or have any of you done some thing similar to this and gotten away with it?

Ps I have never done drugs, and im not goign to start doing drugs or driking, or any of that tonight.

Oppinions?
Advice?

I would suggest you not go. Even though I'm pretty sure you won't be doing drugs or drinking, it's not safe to be there. I'm sure people will end up starting fights and doing some really dumb stuff. And you can always hang out with the guy you like another day. If he's still going, make sure he's going to be careful. Or maybe you guys can just go to some safe place to hang out. Your mother knows what's right. And trust me, a mother's instinct, is never wrong. When she thinks you're not doing something right, she will find out. Hope all goes well.

You were wrong to go to that party after your mom told you not to. Just because you liked a guy there doesn't give you the ok to go. If you were your mom would you let her go out to a party with drinking and guys. If you ask me I wouldn't and I wouldn't trust myself. Especially with peer presure. If your mom found out she would be angry, but could you blame her? I hope I helped

I've done it before.
a lot.
like all the time.
haha.
and I've never been caught,
but make sure your mom doesnt call the girls house your spending the night w/.
and if she call's your cell,
make sure you go somewhere not loud and answer because she might call the friends house.

---
but heres another thing..
this happenend where I live and it was horrible.
these 3 girls snuck out of there house when there parents went to sleep and had a wreck.
they all died.
when the police came to there door and told them they said that it wasnt possible, there kids were asleep.
they checked the bedroom,
and they werent there.

do what you want.
but remember all actions have consequences.
I've been lucky so far-
but you might not be

Well, I would say No dont go..
but at your age, I was the one drinking and dragging my friends along.
If your sure that you want to, then go for it.
Its your decision, no one elses.

Just make sure that your mom wont call your friends house looking for you while youd be at the music thing.

Cover that base first!!

Simply a Rose to brighten your day,
        And maybe lessen the cares in your way;
And also, too, to help you to know,
That in knowing you, many others grow!

Well I think the event has come and gone by now. I just hope you made the right decision and obeyed your mom.

If you didn't, then consider that in the future it is now going to be a lot easier to disobey her and that will be wrong and can only lead you into some serious trouble.

Your mom has invested a lot of time, energy and patience in raising you in the best way that she has been able to. Please give her your utmost respect while under her roof. Once you are of age and move out, you'll have the rest of your life to do as YOU please.

If you did disobey your mom, I hope you will be mature enough to respect her and tell her.
