You are a bit thin for 5'-7" at only 110 lbs but I think you are on the right track by going to a gym. They should have some trainers at the gym to give you good advice. Basically though, body building exercises involve using weights or resistance exercise machines and doing reptitions in the 10 to 12 range for about 3 or 4 sets. However, you'll have to work up to this over a period of several weeks and find out exactly how much weight you can handle when doing the exercises. For example, if you are doing 10 reps, you want to use a weight that you can't do much more than 10 reps, I.e. you can only do ten and not eleven or twelve. There will be experienced lifters and trainers in the gym that can explain all of this to you. Good luck. And don't quit!
it all start with the foundation. you have to start out with legs and build your way up. you don't want to put a lot of muscle on but at the same time you do want to have some tone. your legs are the foundation of your body. once you have your foundation everything else falls in behind it.

How can I gain weight in all the right places?
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any SERIOUS advice!
I weigh 110, im 5'7 and I im a FULL 34B, and a size 0-2 in jeans.
I love my body, but I'd like to gain weight in my legs, I think their just a little too skinny, it makes me look lankier than I...
already am. But for some reason, whenever I gain weight its always in my hips & stomach??
Also, I am signing up for a gym membership this upcoming fall to build muscle in my legs (hopefully that will help!) any other advice will be appreciated! thanks!
