Forgetting the day poetry feedback?

Can someone please give me some feeback on this poem...

Forgetting the day...

I will never forget the day you said its best that we leave and go our separate ways,
I was lost and confused you were my better half
How can you love someone so and then say 'just relax take it slow'?
I thought I did something wrong was it somthing I said?
For you its just easy to say goodbye and let go but to me you were someone was this just a big joke?
Now I try to tell myself that no guy is worth my tears but I guess it hits me pretty hard when I think of my fears,
The thought of you gone the thought that were done?
Its hard to believe that you were my number one,
All those laughs we shared together all those years we spent together,
I guess that its true when they say 'all good things dont last forever'
Am done pretending that I care because lying to you just isnt fair
Your not part of my world you no longer exist
All the pieces of you will be no longer missed...

is this based on your experiances it seems very heartfelt
