whats your favortie verse in the bible && why

Isaiah 41:10 I read that everytime I get depressed or afraid. it reminds me that I always have a close friend nearby. I haven't memorized it, though.

John 3:16&17,I read that because I will never forget that Christ died for me and when I do something wrong I know that he died because he loved me and that he still loves me.

I can't say that I have one favorite... but one I really like is the shortest one in the bible... "Jesus wept"... because even the son of God cries...

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that who so ever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life - it tells me just how much God loves us - to give us a gift of His Son to enable us to live in eternity with Him - I'm amazed, He didn't have to...could have let us just perish - I'm so very Thankful.

I like these caused they are ignored by Christians in favor of the feel good ones. It exposes the ugly side of it.
