I thought the question was directed @ people in their 50's or older but maybe you were asking people in their twenties, what they thought. Younger people wouldn't be able to answer this question too well, though, because they aren't the ones who's face is starting to sag, who's getting wrinkles around their eyes, above and below their mouth, at their cheeks, sunken eyes and lowered eyebrows, doubled and saggy chin/neck just to mention a few things.
I'm 54 and I don't think it's vain at all to 'not' want to look like that. Maybe some youngsters think that they'll never get that way but, as they say, 'you can't be 20 forever'.
I'm pretty lucky that I don't look too shabby for my age, but 'Hell yeah! If I had the money, I'd have a face-lift done in a heartbeat.'
For the person who said it's pointless...Are you not expecting to live to be my age or older? Do you think you would feel the same then?
I don't see anything wrong with it
Esp. if it makes you feel better about urself.
I say GO FOR IT!!!

Is getting a face-lift vain ?

Who thinks if getting a face-lift is vain or just another way to use medical advancements to our benefit ? I'm speaking about for those who are in mid-life or older.
