What's the best way to apply eyeliner?

whats the best way 2 deo eyeliner? im bored of my usual upper and lower lid but not all the way around routine. um so ya. any ideas 4 cute punk eyeliner?>

I only apply eyeliner on the lower eyelid but I have worn it on the top too. I do not like to wear it only on the top that is becoming a popular trend now... I cannot use liquid eyeliner...I have been allergic to different brands of liquid and others have gotton on my contacts and ruined them. I prefer eyeliner sticks but I can use pencils too.

Try a different color. I used to be just black. Now I use like blue and stuff. It makes your eyes come out. And it looks cool. I get a lot of comments on it because it's different.

Apply black eyeliner on lower and upper, from corner of the eye to outside corner. Try liquid liner for a change--it's much darker and more precise. Lay it on pretty thick, about 1/4 of an inch from the eyelash roots up. Then trace over the eyeliner with black or gray eyeshadow using a fine point applicator (either spongy tipped or a brush). It gives it a smoky look. Just sit down and have fun experiementing. I sometimes use the black pencil eyeliner, then go over it with blue liquid liner and a smoky gray eyeshadow that I spread upward towards the eyebrow. Really, it's just about experiementing and having fun. Sometimes I sit down and listen to music and just mess around with different make up styles for an hour or two when I've got nothing else to do. Experimenting is the best way to learn new styles.

Before putting on eyeliner, apply an eyeshadow that goes with your outfit. and THEN put eyeliner on, maybe you can have the end sticks out. You ever seen that? I do it ocassionally.

if you've ever seen amy whinehouses' makup try the way she does her eyeliner and if you dont want to look soo dramatic, then try a different color or tiny sparkles that brighten your eyes
