Eating before bed?

sunny day:) 3.14.08 Asked by babyangel22 2 months ago, 4 answers.

So I know that eating before you go t bed makes you gain weight... I don't want that. But we have dinner pretty late, around 9 ish. And I go to bed around 11.
It's because my dad gets off at 9 and that's when we have dinner. Is that why all this time of working out and everything.. I'm not losing?
When I eat by myself at around 7-8, my parents like don't believe that I ate and want me to eat again, even if I'm not hungry. I have stomach problems.. so that's why they're so strict about how much I eat and when.
I don't think I'm gaining.. but I'm like at the same.
What should I do?

well if your working out then your just gaining muscle which weighs a lot more and besides its not about the weight its about the healthiness of the person!!! So who cares if you gain weight? as long as you feel great thats all that should matter...

And no it only takes about 30 minutes to get everything past the part of harm, the thing your talking about eating before bed would be a bowl of cereal or something then passing out.

Honey you dont need to lose weight but you should be having your dinner before 8pm. Its not really good to go to bed on a full stomach. Is there any way you could eat earlier with them knowing?

It's probably more to do with they want you to sit and eat with them than anything else... Why dont you eat earlier (show your mother you're eating) and then have some fruit with them while they're having dinner... that way you are still present during family meal time, and you get to eat earlier...

you probably need to change your eating habits and eat with them, cause they won't change (parents are too protective for that!), and therefore you won't get anywhere otherwise.
