'dont call me emo' yet your username clearly states 'emo'.

Anyways,My Best friend was cutting once..To the point where she was carving, too.
You need to find someone to talk to about your problems, and rely on them, not sharp objects.
try talking to a parent,or trusted adult.
You need professional help.

'Cutting' is a serious and dangerous condition that should be taken seriously, and not ignored. The following tips might help you stop the cycle, but if you feel you need professional help, then do not be ashamed to seek it! In addition to steps you can take towards self-healing, you'll also find a list of helpful sites.
http://www.wikihow.c...

1. Keep a hotline number with you at all times. When you feel the urge to cut, pick up the phone and call the hotline. Crisis Hotline staff are trained to provide support and offer you alternatives to cutting yourself. However, you should remember that a professional crisis clinician will be clear that it is NOT his or her job to 'talk you out of' cutting yourself - you make your own choices, and you must take responsibility for cutting or not cutting. Do not be ashamed to ask for support when you need it, as this affliction affects people from all walks of life.

2. Remove cutting tools from your immediate area. If you have to take the time to look for something with which to cut yourself, you may find you have just given yourself enough time to deal with the impulse.

3. Identify the 'trigger' that gives you the urge to cut. The moment you have the urge to cut, stop and think of what has just occurred. Remember it and try to avoid these situations! When they do occur, try to create another outlet. Walk away, eat ice cream, take a shower or bubble bath, go out for a jog, go for a swim, call a friend for coffee at the local coffeehouse but do not cut.

4. As soon as you feel the urge to cut yourself, take a deep breath, fold your arms, close your eyes and relax. Tell yourself that you are not going to cut. If possible, lie down somewhere. Stay like this until the urge goes, then quickly phone a helpline or use another means of getting help.

5. Find another way to vent. Cutting is a way to release some type of pain or frustration. Try painting, writing about your feelings, singing, dancing, playing an instrument, or playing a sport. Even screaming at the top of your lungs helps. Try anything you can (as long as it's legal and healthy) to stop the urge to cut.

6. Release the pain without cutting by using your voice. Talk to someone--a doctor, teacher, friends, your parents if you can. You will be surprised how relieved you will feel after you talk about it. If you chose a doctor or a counselor, they can get you the help you need to heal the underlying cause. Speak out loud about what is causing you so much pain. Talk about it - even to yourself, in the privacy of your bedroom. Yell or scream - anything to release the tension inside of you - but do not cut.

7. Help yourself by imagining that you are your best friend. If she was just about to cut herself, what would you say to stop it?

8. Recognize that cutting is just the symptom of a root problem. Follow the above steps to stop yourself from cutting, but also seek help from a doctor, parent, or counselor to address the deeper problems that make you want to cut in the first place.

I AGREE WITH SIKASHIMMER. Call a hotline everytime you get the urge to cut. Or you could really hurt yourself... or worse.

I had a cousin who used to cut. she went to a therapy group. they gave her rubber bands to put around her wrist. each time you get a serious urge to cut, snap the rubber band on your wrist when youre waiting for a hotline. its not the best way to fix it, but you wont be scarring yourself at the same time.

you have the urge for pain so I would suggest the rubber band thing and getting help as well but I have also known people to say they do it and known people who have done it just to get attention not for the reasons why people actually do it...and there are a lot of reasons...get help

These are all fantastic ideas. Follow those and I have something to add. If you find a hobby like drawing or running. Try doing that instead. When you get the urge, just sprint or grab a sheet of paper. Anime is my favorite. Try, whats the wort that could happen?

I used to cut and do other things to. I actually agree with many of the comments above. Look into hotline, or find someone to talk to. Don't be like me, and wait till you're in the hospital. Try a hotline everytime you get the urge to cut or think of something else, enroll in a healthy program where you interact with people a lot more. The YMCA, Swimming just something to get your mind off of cutting. You will feel better about yourself if you try and find some help.

Good Luck.

I used to cut myself all the time and carved my ex's name in my leg and even stabbed myself with pens under the desk during schoolit was awful think it was because I was so unhappy with myself & my life and also it was because I was emo and that was what my friends did. If you have the social thing try getting different friends and also try to deal with the emotional causes. Let it out some other way and do something you love it's what I did now I don't cut or bite at all sometimes I do pinch my wrist though. Still working on it good luck!

yeah, I am getting over cutting at the same moment and I went through a lot with it. my teachers/friends/everyone found out and I was the talk of the school and hate it. just have self control and get help from a therapist so you dont have to go through the same things I did.

As far as the hobbies go they cant really swim because of the cuts and to respond to you 3moq my friends cousin cut a lot like their hole bathroom covered in blood and their parnets just told them you are not in trouble but we love you and we would hate to see you dead and that helped him a lot but whatever you do NOT I repeat DO NOT go to a counseler at a school or one that is in contact with parnets that will just make matters worse.

I know exaactly how you feel. I cut, and I am trying to stop as well. When I was 5 years old my dad went to jail innocently and is still on probation. When I was nine, I found out what cutting was and I just started to do it. I have been doing it for 3 years now, and I have kept it from my parents for that long.
I have 3 best friends, whom I talk to, and that helps. Also, I talk to the youth pastors at my church, and thay swore they wouldnt tell my parents. Its great when you have someone you trust to talk to. I really have a problem, but thankfully I have stopped for a whole month!
Another thing that helps is when you feel like you want to cut, instead of taking the pain out on the knife, lock yourself in the car and cry. That may sound a little weird, but it REALLY helped me when I was going through that. Maybe talk to your friends while you sit in the car too.
Just make sure you stay away from stuff such as knifes, razors, and other sharp objects that can be used for cutting.
I am so sorry that you are going through this. My best regards.

xxSmiles.

I know it's hard to stop
I stopped
but when something bad happens I start again
I know its hard just try and put the sharp thing down when you're about to do it and say to yourself that you don't need to do it!! maybe instead, write down the pain, don't try and cut it away.

if you need me, im here xx
