Does anyone know the details on "heavier than heaven"?

I read about a movie coming up,a biography about Kurt Cobain,with Zac Efron Starring as Kurt.((Not so fond of that idea,but okay))
And Im just wondering,will it make it to the big screen? or just go straight to dvd?
And how far along in the making is...

I think the Zac Efron thing is a rumor...

Access Hollywood reports that Love has acquired the rights to Heavier Than Heaven, with several studios engaged in discussions with Love to create a film adaptation of Cobain's biography. Love has expessed an interest in having actor Ewan McGregor play the lead role. The current favorite among fans to play the role is up-and-coming actor Joe Anderson due to his striking physical similarity to Cobain and singing ability as evidenced in the 2007 movie Across the Universe.

If Ewan McGregor plays the lead, I'd be stoked (because I think he's fantastic!), but I don't think he'd do a good version of Kurt- he's too clean-cut to pull it off.

If Zac Efron plays Kurt, I'm boycotting it on principle.
