Do advisors know who you are if you mark as 'anonymous'?

Do advisors know who you are even if you mark your question has been marked as 'anonymous'..? Because I heard they can read your Funmail.

Any administrator can look up any action on the site. Including questions marked anonymous. It's to prevent abuse, so, we only do so when people abuse the "anonymous feature".

Right, but this is administrators, not advisors. And there are only like 4 of us who are admins.

Hi emmalism3568, just to follow on from what the Dude and Editor posted above.

This is particulary useful when investigating pro ana/mia members on here that persist in encouraging others to self harm even after being warned.

The Advisors and the Adminstrators on this site have a duty to investigate any actions including questions, answers, messages, funmails, groups etc where they feel self harm is being encouraged or other site terms of use are being ignored.

If Advisors require something investigated that they do not have access to, they just request one of the Administrators to look into this. We all work together as a team.

Those who choose to breach the terms of use that they agree to when joining the site, may like to take the above into account.
