How to start a divorce?

I just want to know if anyone nows the first thing about getting a divorce?we have one kid! HELP

It really depends on where you live. I live in Tennessee and here is what I did. First, one of you has to move out. Preferably him unless you just really dont like where you live. Then you need to consult with an attorney. Most of them have a free consultation. He/she will advise on where to go from there. In Tennessee you have to go thu a 6 month wait and sometime the judge can make you try counseling before he will grant the divorce.

Also with a child involved you want to get the attorney soon and get support started asap.
