Dissing advisors

Me.. Asked by sisienne about 1 month ago, 18 answers.

How come so many people say rude things about the advisors? They are all great people. And even though they may some rude things to people they are giving you their opinion and that's what you asked for. Whether you liked it or not.. Why do so many...

people hate some?

you have to remember not everyone is nice to others, and they come here to feel better about themselves, and putting others down ; )

I have noticed a time or two where someone says something rude and unkind about an advisor here. I have also noticed the advisors seem to treat people with respect, decency and fairness.. when they are treated the same way.
I believe the advisors do a good job of listening, explaining and helping. Some people just don't seem to show much respect to others.

Funny you should be the one to say that, since I've seen you get into it with an advisor.
All of them are extremely nice, unless provoked and attacked by other members. In that case, I dont care if they are an advisor or not, they have the right to stick up for themselves.

Because people want to feel good about themselves.
If you treat the advisers rudely, then you're most likely going to be treated the same way. People treat advisers rudely sometimes which I don't know why.
And, some people tend to be judgemental at times too. The advisers are people too and they have feelings and want to be treated with respect. If you treat them with respect, they will treat you back with the same.

I have never had an issue with an advisor on here, their all nice to me and I dont have a problem with them. just b/c they are advisors doesn mean they wont make mistakes, they are human too. and ususally when one is rude to the other, the other will be rude back. I dont see you saying "they may some rude things to people they are giving you their opinion" really helped anything. they can give their opinion, thats all our advice is, but you can do it without bein rude, and thats to everyone on here, you can do it without bein rude to one another. I dont know of any on here, but some could be abusing their advisor power, I dont know. but what comes around goes around, if they are rude to a perons, that person will be rude back. if I feel one has been rude to me, I will say something back, everyone has a right to stand up for themselves.

"not all of the advisors are rude but there are a couple of em...and being that your an advisor I think you should be more professional about situations intead of runnin your mouths being rude and ignorant. yea I understand sum people on here have attitudes or w/e but it doesnt help when you get an attitude as well. sum of em need demoted if you ask me lol =)"

no one demands we be "professional", as long as we dont abuse our powers, we are allowed to have our own opinions...

Because we are a higher power than a regular user and some people feel the need to hate on people who are above them.

Advisors are here to do a job, they have to be rude at times because nothing else will get through the head of the person they're talking to. As for just saying rude things when they're not provoked...I seriously doubt that happens. But you need to try to remember that we are people with feelings and we don't have to take sh*t from anyone.

And to whitney8732...I got promoted to advisor because of my advice...not because I'm on the computer 24/7. I have a husband, 3 kids and a house to take care of...everyday. My life does not revolve around the computer nor will it ever. And believe me my priorities...which is all about my kids...never come after the computer.

"damn mandyloo. everytime I post somethin you got to reply 2 me."
I wouldn't have to if you would act your age and stop being immature. The only other time I have said anything to you is when your were arguing about wanting to be able to type in all caps.

"quit jockin me hoe"
That's the type of reaction that provokes people and causes them to give you a hard time right there. Also a "hoe" is a garden tool.

"they are ADVISORS"
They are also people just like you and me, with feelings.

"lets say if I call the "thedude" a biitch or say some fuccked up shiit 2 him, im pretty sure he's not going to cuss me out or blah blah blah b/c he'll be PROFESSIONAL about the situation. sure he's probably callin me all types of names but he wouldnt show it on here. he mite suspend/delete my account or w/e but thats about it or tell me off in a nice way I don't know"

That's how he would handle the situation then, not everyone is like that, and there are no rules that say that advisors can not stick up for themselves when you are obviously provoking it. If you ask me, you asked for it, so now you deal with it.

I agree with mandyloo advisors have every right to stick up for themselves! And how stephanie987 said that they are higher or above and you guys got all upset about it, chill! They are above you! They obviousy have done more things on here and they must have been good things or they would not have been upgraded to an advisor! Do the math! You should be looking up to them and respect their opinion! Not trying to put them down!!

some of these biitch azz advisors get an attitude 1st so thats what sets off a user. its not the users being rude its THEM. but who cares any way its only funadvice. not like its myspace or somethin lol nobody know's about funadvice sooo lets not get a big ego about being an advisor geez...

colethky...seeming that you just joined around end of July, you already gave 1456 answers. I'd say yes your life probably pretty much revolves around your cpu. I mean its not like the advisors are makin a lot of big money off this shiit so thats why I dont understand where stephanie thinks people hate on her. biitch pleez tell that shiit 2 another sucker

babygirl8732...no, I have a lot more things to do then to sit here with my life revolving around a computer. Normally the only time that I get on here is after my kids are asleep...finally time to myself. My life revolves around my kids. Is it my fault that it doesn't take me long to answer a question and that I can think of an answer fast? A lot of the questions on here I've had experience in so I try to help...

And thank you for giving me your special attention...gives me such a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that someone is thinking so much about me.

as for the biitch advisors...normally you get what you know. And if FunAdvice means so little to you then by all means delete your account...after all it's not myspace.
