In response to punkrocker, no one should ever physically abuse their child, even if they are back talking you.
I did not kick my 17 year old out, I just sat him down nicely and told him. There are rules around here and if you can not abide by them, then you should just move out. Boy, he was gone so fast I didn't see him shut the door. lol He went and stayed with friends and about 3 months later he came home and abides by the rules and pays rent. I feel that if you kick them out and change the lock on the doors, then you are telling them if they have a problem they can not come to you. I just didn't want to send that message to my kids.
Yes you can disown him
My mother spanks us and at my age thats digrating,, he just thinks hes all that
Whenhe gets older he will realize that thats not what life is all about you can always put him in a special school or military,,,
What works for my mom besides hitting us is when she crys and gives us this look like she is so dissappointed in us and that are lifes are nothing
if you know God at all you should really talk to him about this...
