Discharge is how our body keeps itself clean. It also acts as a lubricant for sexual activity. It is very normal to notice it every day.

^ Discharge absolutely is normal, Stephy. In fact, not having discharge would be a problem. If a woman did not have discharge, it would mean her v*agina wasn't able to clean itself. That would mean she might be more prone to getting infections. It would also make intercourse impossible.

Clear or white discharge is normal. Discharge can be watery, milky, tacky, or stringy. However, if you ever notice discharge that looks really clumpy like cottage cheese, is yellow or green, or is frothy, that's not normal. That's when you would have to go to the ob-gyn because those things can be signs of yeast infections or STDs.
