It sounds like you may have a bladder infection. This is very common and one of the symptoms is burning when you go pee and feeling like you have to go a lot but when you try nothing happens. If it is a bladder infection the doctor will put you on meds that will clear up the problem very quickly. I recommend that you see your doctor as soon as possible. Don't worry though. They are right. It sounds like a bladder infection or a UTI. You should call your doc and get in as soon as you can. IF the pain and symptoms are really bad you can buy this stuff called AZO form a drug store. It will relieve the symptoms. You still need to go to the doctor but the AZO will make it easier on you until you can get to the doctor.
