Disappointed about american idol this week

Well, I didn't watch the elimination, though I did see the night before, where the contestants sung musical numberings on American Idol. My parents watched it, and said that Carly Smithson was knocked off the show. She got the least amount of votes. I,...

personally think it's horrible that she got knocked off.

Smithson had one of the best voices on that show, and she deserved to be on that show 'till the end. I mean, not to offend anyone who are fans, but I'm not fond of Jason Castro at all, the guy with the dreadlocks. I mean, he has a good voice and all, but I would never see him as the next American Idol.

Honestly, when I heard Carly Smithson sing for the first time, I was blown away by how amazing she did pretty much every week on that show. Unfortuantly, I've got to say that I was very much upset, though shocked that she got knocked off.

Who agrees and disagrees with me?

I agree she was talented and I don't think she should have been kicked off this week but I never really saw her winning, of course I never expected Micheal Johns to get kicked off either. I Really think Brooke should have gone home this week.

I agree very much with you on that prince_zk189. I saw Brooke White perform, though I'd got to say that she's very, very much talented in music, meaning playing the piano, guitar and so forth, though I doubt she's going to win. Her performance this week was very weak, and it was hard for me to say whether she did a good job or not. I've always enjoyed her presence on American Idol, what a lovely girl, but then again, she's not my top favorite singer.

Personally, I think the final three will be,
1. David Cook
2. Jason Castro
3. David Archuleta
But thats just my opinion, and I only think that because I beleive those three to have the biggest fan bases on the show and thats a big part of the competition.

I think Carly might have not got enough votes because she sang a christian song, and there are many atheists and such out there.. just my opinion. She was a very strong singer and I feel she should have stayed and maybe even won..
