the question was just referring to the fact that marijuana is a more harmful substance than alcohol and cigarettes which is not something everyone knows and I just thought it was a useful piece of info

Thc the chemical that gives the high is a poison. I sure wish pot smokers would stop trying to rationalize . Its bad; period! In most of the drug related forums I have found it quite amusing to read the posts that other have written about the "drugs are bad." They were posting something that was legit. IT IS less bad for you than tobacco or alcohol. BUT guess what they are ALL drugs, and Along with drugs comes the consequence of using them. But as for marijuana being addictive...that differs from person to person. It all depends on what that persons DOC is. DUH.

I have a feeling someone is a bit biased towards cannabis...do a lot more research before you start listening to one rebellious article in a cheap magazine.

My uncle died of lung cancer, due to working in a mill. Pot was the only thing that helped him to eat, keeping him with us until Christmas day 1997.

couple reasons why it should be legalized:
-will be removed from black market and stop empowering gang members
-medical reasons
-would be sold like alcohol, remember alcohol was once prohibited too (in stores away from children, have to be 21+)
-would be a law that you cant drive while intoxicated on weed
-prison population would lower (prisons are overcrowding with nonviolent offenders)
-keep patients from being convicted
-would provide millions of jobs for people
-would make us an independent country (fuel, etc.., debt free america)

people with an addiction (including hard drugs) shouldnt be thrown in jail, they need help
theres more people in jail with mental illnesses than there are in mental institutions

the list goes on

- the War on Drugs is a failure, its a war on its own people. policies need to be changed
we pay billions in taxpayers money to keep the war going and neither side is winning
thats just a waste of our tax money
