If a word in a dictionary is misspelled, how
would you know?

I think the dictionary is checked 100 times over before its printed. I doubt they'd be mistakes in there anyways

there is I found one once...they switched the and made it teh lol...that is how you would know when it is so common anyone can make a mistake and our brains dont read letters they read words so mostly people dont realize when the letters are out of order.

The mistake would likely only be in one dictionary.

So if it's spelled one way in Oxford, and a different way in Webster's, you know you have to break out a third one to settle the score.
