So anyways I heard the term many times but what exactly does diagnosed mean? It must have something to do with having it right?

Diagnosed just means that a professional MD (doctor) has concluded about a condition or disease an individual has. It is hard to explain, but here are a couple of examples:
She has been diagnosed with cancer.
I have been diagnosed with anemia.

It could pertain to any illness, sickness, or disease. It is just a fancy term for concluded that one has something.
