Hi,
Here are some symptoms.
* Frequent urination
* Excessive thirst
* Extreme hunger
* Unusual weight loss
* Increased fatigue
* Irritability
* Blurry vision
You can't really fake it. It would severely harm you because you'd be injecting insulin into your body when you don't need it. You could cause Hypoglycemia, having too much insulin.
One reason hypoglycemia due to excessive insulin can be more dangerous is that insulin lowers the available amounts of most alternate brain fuels, such as ketones. Brain damage of various types ranging from stroke-like focal effects to impaired memory and thinking can occur.
Children who have prolonged or recurrent hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia in infancy can suffer harm to their brains and may be developmentally delayed.
I'm diabetic... but I'm on insulin so I'm not so sure on the pump.. but, from what I know a/b it I wouldn't like it.. I told my doctor I'd rather take 30 shots a day rather than have the pump..
my symptons are that my feet & legs are constantly getting charlie horses & that tingly feeling.. I'm alwayyys thirsty & I pee constantly! when my sugar is too high or too low I can't see straight ( almost like I have on glasses that are WAY over prescibed ) I'm tired & can't function.
I don't see how or why anyone would ever want to "pretend" they had diabetes.
so there
