Well, first of all I just wanted to say, good job! I'm proud of you, and your motivation to lose weight the HEALTHY way. It's depressing to see all these people go anorexic or bulimic, just to lose a few pounds. So, good job. Keep it up!
My advice:
Try to do different things every day. Going on the treadmill is good, but also do crunches, squats...etc. You can look up different sort of exercises online. Just type it in google, and there should be plenty to work with. Once you start getting used to the treadmill, try to challenge yourself by picking up the pace, little by little.
If you need anymore help, just funmail me :]
Hi there!
Well I think you are doing a fantastic job! Weights and cardio are the quickest way to lose those extra pounds that you want to lose, but make sure that you tweek that diet also. Try to avoid eating late at night, drink lots of water (avoid soda, it dehydrates you and makes it harder to work out because it give you cramps.) and also, eat smaller meals more frequently throughout the day. If you are willing to make another small investment, go to beachbody.com and try one of their workout programs, they are awesome!
Good luck!!
Well done! Keep up the cardio/aerobics, treadmill is a great idea.
I'd tend to disagree with the others about weight training right now. Weihts are good for building and toning musles, and for bone density/strength. You can do that later.
Right now, burn off as much fat as possible and control your diet, eliminate fats, cut down on carbs. Walk a lot, and generally be as active as possible. The faster you lose, the faster it will come back. Slow and gradual, and a change in lifestyle is a much healthier approach.
Treadmills are wonderful! especially if your starting out. I know that when you first do excersice after not doing any for a while its always better to start out with what you feel comfortable doing. then when you get use to it walk to longer times and gradually build up each day. Walking is the best excersize because you are moving all muscle groups at the same time. Also excersizing the larger muscles [legs, butt} is very effective. And walking does this. I know you can do it. Good luck!!!
