l_o_v_e, continue to eat healthy (fruits, veggies, protein, etc) and do any vigorous activity and you will loose weight. Dancing is fine and can be a fun way. Also things like - walk your dog (or walk with a friend that has a dog) , go swimming (in doors unless you live where it's warm all year), go skiing, trail hiking, dodge ball, touch football, walk around the block and check out all your nighbors' decorations, skip rope, climb a hill to take pictures of where you live, or to have a picnic, ride a bike (if it's safe and you know traffic laws), play volleyball, or
any physical activity that keeps you moving.
All of the above are even better if you have a friend along.
The main thing with weight loss is that you must burn more calories than you take in.

Will dancing help me lose weight?
So I really need and want to lose some weight... well my question is: If I dance for a long time for an excercise each night will I lose weight? (This includes dieting during the day too.) Please let me know!
