How to prevent seasickness?

im going on a cruise spring 09 and I was wondering if theres any way I could prepare myself so I dont get seasick

There are pills you can take for motion sickness, but they put you to sleep... Not so sure if that's too helpful on a cruise...

Dramamine or Benadryl works for motion sickness but they may make you sleepy. There may be something else you can get that won't. Also try not to bend over, if you can help it. I know that, in a small boat, bending over can make you sick. Sorry, I don't know of any way to prevent it.

I know a better cure for any kind of travel-sickness, better than any kind of tablets. It's guaranteed to work, because it's helped me for years. All you need is a portable CD player with earphones, plenty of batteries and your favourite CDs. This really works. I've had no sickness while travelling in years. Hopefully you too can benefit from listening to your favourite tunes. =o)
