Cousin gone crazy!

ok my cousin is 16 and she had sex with her next door neighbor which he is 25.she got pregnant and her mom made her get an abortion.she has been going against her mom ever since she moved out from my grandmas!my grandma is mad that my cousin is only...

doing this to get out of school and I also hate that my cousin is doing it!her mom is thinking of sending her back to my grandmas but is not sure that my cousin will survive with my grandma!what should my aunt do?

call Dr. Phil.. haha. It sounds like your cousin is being a normal teenager and rebeling. What concerns me is (from what you describe) her lack of concern for her own body. Counciling and some positive adult influences would help.

well she is rebelling I dont think a normal teenager would go out and do these sorts of things... they could have been influenced by freinds, internet,tv, the music shows and music she listens to ect. because people are influenced by different things that they take bits and peices of that make up who they are. it sound like shes into all the wrong sorts of things. yes some positive influences could help, also have a look at the what she looks at, listens to like internet and music wise. you need to , or get someone who will, explain what shes doing to herself and her body, and explain that if she keeps this up how bad off shell be later on in life.

me my self think she needs some counciling bad or she is headed for trouble. been ther done it and it isnt a good life .she needs to look at her self in the mirror and ask if she is happy with things in her life.

The above advice while noble and good in theory won't work. Your cousin is going to have to learn the hard way like most people. She sounds very stubborn. Some people just can't listen learn and take good advice. Trying to help her will amount to banging your head against a brick wall in my opinion. It will get neither her nor you anywhere and just cause resentments. So my advice is to give up, it's called tough love. Let go and let God, someday maybe ten years down the road she'll look back and see what stupid choices she made. It's just the way some people are. Good luck.
